INTERNET and the LACK OF IT

www.karlbunyan.co.uk

What did people do before the internet? Oh, I forgot, everyone went to the movies or strolled through Luneta or more recently walked around malls. And when we were younger, piko, tumbang preso, and langit lupa were considered les jouets du jour.

I, for one, HATE not having internet at home. After transferring to a less admirable abode last month, I suddenly realized how important internet is to my life. I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad. Mixed emotions I guess, but sorrow overcomes joy.

Since arriving from the UK, I've been itching to post my 2309 pictures and 7 30-second videos in this blog and on my Friendster / Facebook / Multiply pages. A week has passed since the plane landed on that fateful rainy night but still no photos. I can't even get myself to Photoshop them since I know I am unable to post them anyway.

Also, I sorely miss my porn. Good thing I saved some on my laptop, but one scene can only last me 3 JO sessions. After that, I'd rather watch WOWOWEE to be titillated.

Lastly, I want to write some travel entries but I saved them on the laptop, so I cannot get them out of it until I have a LAN cable. I can't be inspired (read: plagiarize) by anything if I don't look at the internet. There is some inspiration but I need my thesaurus.com.

I know, there's netopia and b_connected but everything is in my laptop. Besides, I'm not the type of person to wank in public, at least not when it's midday and high school teeners are shouting at each other like it was the Battle of Tirad Pass all over again.

I also don't want to save my work on a CD for further editing at work. I happen to be a responsible, honest, ethical, hardworking person who believes work time is paid time so any time at work should be purely just work. I don't want to get a pre-paid card either considering the way websites are designed now; there's already millions of death from the H1N1 virus and I haven't even uploaded a SINGLE photo yet.

By the way, I'm writing this at work. I'm sure my boss will understand.

I JUST WANT MY INTERNET.
