Not again...

What's happening? Apparently, it's Oakwood mutiny part 2.
Antonio Trillanes is holding Manila Peninsula captive this time. I'm not sure what these people want, but here's a gist: http://www.tinig.com/v34/v34lp_panawagan.html.
This country isn't going to the dogs. It's been to the dogs and has chosen to stay with the dogs. Everyone's so busy with their own selfish bullshit that they forget there are other people to consider in the decisions we make.
But everyone's got their own agenda and somehow, it doesn't go with others'. We do not have to agree with each other's opinion but at least, let's agree to be good citizens and help the country be a better one. We're old enough to know what's right from wrong.
Here are a few ideas I have to make this country a better one through simple actions:
1. Always bring a small bag with you put plastic candy wrappers, cigarette butts, or whatever rubbish you have for disposal at a later time. Refrain from throwing things on the ground or on waterways. Look for the nearest garbage bin.
2. Always ask for official receipts. Especially in Boracay which has a very expensive lifestyle but only a few establishments actually give out receipts when asked (read: never volunteered).
3. Don't break into qeues. This is the most basic form of justice you can find which many Filipinos seem to forget. If someone arrives earlier than you, then it is rightfully just that he/she gets a service/product first. Qeueing is a form of discipline that tests your ability to practice justice and fairness in all its purity.
4. Care. I'm sure there are a lot of things happening with your life, but there's a bigger picture. There are a lot of things happening right now in this country, too, much less the world. Take at least an hour of your day to know what's going on. Or better yet,
5. Take action. It's small gestures that matter. Join the Army Reserve program. Donate to a local charitable institution. Run a "Clean our Streets" program. Buy more Filipino products. Do not stop to care.
