Boxing on Boxing Day

Went to Melbourne for the holidays and i must admit I'm kinda disappointed about my first boxing day sale here. I DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING! At least nothing that I would use. I now realize I'm over common fashion (Read: Mooks / Country Road) and like things that are more unusual. Which was hard since we went to a mall that locals frequent.

I MISS Hong Kong and Bangkok!!!

Anyway, I'm considering online shopping now. I tried ASOS before but had my sunglasses sent to a friend in Hong Kong since they don't do posts to Manila. Now that I'm here, I'm seriously considering just buying things over the internet. I'd love to shop the pages of oki-ni or oaknyc or colette but due to budgetary constraints, I'll have to limit myself to ASOS and zappos, hehe.

Chasing Scott Schuman

I just had one of the best news I had in my life:

I GOT A JOB IN SYDNEY!!!

I'm SOOO psyched because it's my first job here. Can you believe it, I applied to more than 30 companies, and only this company called me up. I was really nervous at first, thinking that I am under-qualified for the position and that my visa status is a problem for them, but it wasn't!

AND IT'S A JOB I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO EVERYDAY!!!

It's for a magazine services company and their portfolio is quite impressive. Their magazines include those that I would love to read. I won't mention them since it's in my contract, hehehe...


Hemingways, SCOTT SCHUMAN IS IN SYDNEY!!! I found out after visiting his blog yesterday that he was going to Australia this week and I'm excited to see him personally. Actually, I'm excite to have my photo taken by him. I know it's a long shot, but I've been trying. I should have taken a photo of me yesterday and today just to show you my Summer's finest, but I get lazy doing that.

Where is he? I've been going around George and York and the Park, I can't find him. Scott, if you happen to be browsing through this blog now, please contact me or leave a comment of where I can find you, hahaha!!! Just kidding, I won't stalk you.

But I'll definitely be going to your book signing this coming Tuesday.

OK, back to reality, I have to do groceries at Coles now.
